Applying ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System at CBB Engineering & Trading Co., Ltd.
In today's competitive trend, thanks to focusing on investing in equipment, fostering and training to raise the qualifications of managers at all levels and the contingent of engineers, technical staff, arranging and strengthening the ministry's organization, with special focus on quality control as well as progress, CBB Company has been trusted by customers for many valuable projects / orders. All products undertaken by the Company are highly appreciated by customers. However, during this period, the Company faced many challenges, such as:
• The Covid-19 pandemic is raging in more than 200 countries leading to a declining global economy,
• Need to optimize capacity to meet quality and price;
• The management system requires proximity and gradual integration with the customer management system, creating customer peace of mind;
• Intense competition between domestic and foreign companies.
In order to meet those requirements, CBB Engineering & Trading Co., Ltd. decided to apply the quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2015 standards for them products.
The process of updating ISO 9001: 2015 at the Company
The main objective is to build a quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2015 for Design and Manufacture of Equipment and mechanical products for Industrial plants.
Surveying the situation of enterprises:
The actual status survey process is conducted through annual internal assessment.
Currently, with the size of a small and medium company, the introduction of the Quality Management System will create a standard, easy-to-manage model and create a development platform for future development.
Update quality management system
The process of updating the quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2015 is carried out as follows:
- Guide the Company to set up an ISO Committee responsible for supervising and speeding up project implementation as required by the standard;
- Conduct a survey of the current situation of the existing management system compared with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 to find out any inappropriate points that need to be supplemented or amended, and at the same time understand the production process current business of the Company;
- Training on common awareness and requirements of ISO 9001 for the Company's staff to raise awareness about quality and quality system to be ready to participate in activities within the project framework;
- Training, consulting and supporting the Company's project implementation team on techniques for developing quality system documents (including Quality Manual, Quality Policy and Objectives, processes and guidelines work…);
- Work with officials assigned the responsibility to write specific documents to identify work processes and content that need to be documented, giving detailed instructions on how to document necessary content. ;
- Review the process documents / documents of the quality system that has been drafted and advised by the Company so that the Company can make appropriate improvements to ensure that it meets the standards and quality of the Company's operations.
- Organize training and guidance for groups of officials directly implementing the Project on the application of quality systems in the functional areas and departments under their charge;
- Monitoring and verifying the implementation and compliance with the quality system according to the Quality Manual and written procedures as well as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001;
- Training a team of internal auditors to ensure that these experts are qualified and qualified in accordance with the requirements of the standards and are capable of conducting internal quality audits in the Company ty;
- Conduct internal audits with the Company's trained auditors to ensure the conformity of ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System and propose and conduct measures together with the Company. necessary remedies and precautions;
- Review the results of the Certification Organization and help the Company to take remedies for outstanding issues (if any) until the Company receives a certificate of conformity with ISO 9001: 2015. ;
Overall evaluation of the results and benefits achieved
- Implement training courses such as general training on the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 for officials and employees.
- Completing the system of documents put into practice by determining the operational context of the organization, processes (especially the process of creating products and services directly to customers), sequence - interactions as well as ways to control the process. Operational activities are clearly defined, employees are disseminated and deployed in the right way.
